Assholes
Friday, January 26th, 2007 | News | 5 Comments
The guys over at Reuters are a bunch of assholes. I think Bush is an idiot like most people who make less than 200k a year and have an IQ over 100 but to criticize the following statement is ridiculous.
“It makes sense that if somebody is trying to harm our troops or stop us from achieving our goals or killing innocent citizens in Iraq, that we will stop them,” Bush said. “It’s an obligation we all have to protect our folks and achieve our goals.”
He was basically saying that if Iranian troops attack our troops that we will fight back. Duh! What the fuck you think would happen? Even in the United States you are authorized to use deadly force if in self defense so why should this be any different in another country? Bush is half retarded but give him a break. Not everything out of the guys mouth is rubbish.

Real wealth

Fancy cars and expensive clothes aren’t a sign of wealth. They’re merely a sign of spent money. (Or, more often, borrowed money.)

Power

It is said that power corrupts, but actually it’s more true that power attracts the corruptible. The sane are usually attracted by other things than power.

Deal or No deal?
Sunday, January 14th, 2007 | Daily life, Rants | No Comments

Have you seen the television show Deal or No Deal on NBC? What a horrible show that shit is. If you haven’t seen it then I’ll try to explain it. A contestant comes on the show and has to pick briefcases with amounts of money in them. They are then able to keep the case they choose last which hopefully has a shit load of money. Additionally, they can sell the first case they choose for different amounts of money being offered.
Essentially the game is just luck. As long as you speak English and can read numbers you have the same chance of winning as anyone else. Nothing you do will give you an edge. Nothing! How is this TV? How can people actually look forward to this on prime time? What makes it worse is that contestants actually take time to try and choose the correct case which still doesn’t make it more likely to win.
It’s the equivalent of rolling dice. Each number on a die only has a 16.6% chance of getting hit regardless of the past rolls. Is television doomed to get progressively worse?

Look through my eyes.

I have a fucked up view of the world. Maybe other people are as screwed up as I am or maybe I’m just bat shit insane. You decide.
I went for lunch to a fast food place called Chick-fil-A. After eating real quick I drove back to the office and sat in the parking lot listening to music and relaxing without having all those pesky things around (I mean people). I started looking at the trees and the blue sky and the first thought that popped into my head was “wow that’s a really good image” like it was a TV or something. That shit can’t be normal.
Viewing real life as if it were a television isn’t the half of it though. I hate nice people! Some find this strange and some think that I’m lying but I honestly do not like nice people. When someone is nice just out of the blue, my instincts usually kick in and I start to think to myself “what does this person want from me?” as if someone needs to have an ulterior motive to be nice. While I know this to not be true, my instincts always force me to clam up and give a mean look whenever someone smiles or says hi.
My hypocrisy pisses me off a lot too. I fault others for the same shit that I’m guilty of including hypocrisy itself.

Legalize it!

I think they should legalize murder. It would really cut down on the traffic on the roads and pretty much do away with unemployment. If society deems you unworthy to live, you’re gone. If I could kill 1 person a month, my life would be a happier place.

Most people have seen worse things in private than they pretend to be shocked at in public.
