There was a recent posting on Slashdot with a link to an article at Computer World about the “best” places to work in the IT field. Just as many of the Slashdot commenter’s stated; this is a bullshit survey.

First of all these companies have retarded fucking surveys that no one really cares about and when negatives are found that add layers of bureaucracy on top to “solve” the problem. I understand that companies want to create a culture and shit but I just want to work. I don’t work to make friends or have fun. I work because I like the physical act of working.

I prefer to live the Batman life of being one person at work and then turning off and being another at home. The thought of smearing that line irks me.
