I found this Time article about other people getting rid of all their excess stuff just like I am. My place looks weird now that I have 1500 square feet of next to nothing but it’s really easier to not have to worry about your things all the time.

If you have a nice couch, you have to worry about spilling things on it. If you drive a nice car it would suck to get a scratch. My car is bad ass because it has a million scratches and some more won’t hurt. My car is so shitty, the right exterior door handle is missing which I like to think of as a “security feature”.
