Blah Blah Blah
The Iraqi elections went surprisingly smooth, we had a few booms here and there but that’s pretty “normal”. I can’t tell you how many people actually voted but it seemed by the length of the lines that a good portion of the country took part in the election. The coalition has done a lot of work trying to make sure everything went smooth and I guess that all the hard work paid off. I have not checked out what the news has to say because I really hate the news and I don’t really care what they think.
I am moving this blog soon (cough). I cough because I really don’t know how soon because I am still trying to work some kinks out. Basically I am creating a blog from scratch with Dreamweaver, some PHP, and SQL. I already have a host and domain name so the URL will eventually become http://sethsblog.com which will be cool. I am also adding some other things to the site so it will actually be more than just a bl

I am very happy the elections went as smooth as they did. The Iraqi people showed a lot of courage and responsibility.
I’m glad to hear from your perspective that the vote went pretty smooth.
I look forward to checking out your new site!
Actully the news coverage was surprisingly positive, not just at Fox News Channel, either but at CNN and elsewhere. One writer at the Democratic Underground blog wrote that he became physically ill watching CNN because all the news was about the election and almost nothing about the “freedom fighters” (read: murderous thugs). Good. He should feel as sick in his stomach as he is sick in his head.
As for me, I have felt pride, not only in the Iraqis who braved bullets, mortars and exploding children to make their voice heard but in you and your band of brothers and sisters for the job you have been doing.
Thank you.
