Come on haters, start hating

“Let me be clear. This whole incident was instigated by the inappropriate touching and stopping of me, a female black congresswoman”
Have you heard about this dumb bitch? This fucking cunt is why blacks are still not equal in America. I saw her on several news stations complaining about being stopped by a security guard at checkpoint. Now I didn’t know it until I read this article but the folks in Congress don’t have to walk through the metal detector which I feel is perfectly fine. What I have a problem with is that she blamed the incident on her color.
I’d love to choke the shit out of this bitch. First of all, she wasn’t wearing the special pin to show that she was a member of congress so that she didn’t have to get stopped. Then she expected some security guard to know who she was. I couldn’t tell you who anyone in Congress is except her because she just made the news.
She wasn’t stopped because she was black, she was stopped because she refused to stop at the checkpoint and wasn’t wearing her pin. The security guard did his job, period. People complain about lack of security at our borders and checkpoints but then bitch about getting stopped. Make up your minds already!
Anyhow, I really feel that this type of shit is why black people are looked down upon by most of the WASPS (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants) in this country. You can’t do something wrong and then damn near scream at the camera on the news about how you were stopped because of your color when that just isn’t true. Raising your voice just makes you look defensive which is basically a sign of guilt in most people’s eyes.
The other day I seen this black chick snapping her fingers at the camera on some news show (I think it was that O’Reilly crap) and although I thought her point was valid, no one in the white community heard it. You can’t use street talk when you’re trying to make a point to educated people; they just won’t listen. Unless black people can drop that attitude they will always be Niggers.

I’d think she’d be thankful that someone was checking so that just anyone can’t stroll into the building. The security guard was there for a reason. Does she think she doesn’t need security?
hey bitch,
Always choosing the easy targets huh? Damn you wanna take a couple of shots at Al Sharpton? You know he’s full of shit, committed crimes and isn’t really out for anybody but himself. And then on top of that, to have the nerve to run for president? Damn, with leaders like that, we don’t need enemies. So why don’t you shit on Al for a while? Throw around a few more slurs that even eminem knows is not cool to say regardless of how he feels?
But wait, Al’s campaign was financed by the Republican party. And how likely do you think that this chick’s litigation fees are being paid by some conservative right wing (read: white) group? I guess it’s just a coincidence that some chick dumb enough to snap her fingers on camera made it on O’Reilly, but Cornell West has yet to make an appearance. Yeah we can have a three way debate with Cam’ron and Ludacris primetime on big networks but intelligent discourse like “the state of the black union” is relegated to C-Span. Shows like “Like it Is” occupy the Sunday morning timeslot.
There are many black people who do know how to talk right and do know how to act right. Believe it or not, there are renowned black female intellectuals alive today. You think it’s coincidence they’re not on tv? The problem is two-fold. On the one side they’re systematically silenced by a media that denies them access and fills the time with borderline retarded pseudo-issues and cheap decoy tactics like this bitch. On the other side, morons like you are too fuckin lazy to actually try to find out what’s up but want to have something to talk about. Y’all approach the news like people approach reality tv. You’re not looking for something inciteful, you’re looking for exactly the type of drivel they’re shovelling down your throats so you can criticize it and feel better about yourself. If the shit’s easy to tear apart it’s probably cause someone left perforations for you.
This whole thing is stupidity compounding stupidity. It’s dumb on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin. Wtf are you doing watching O’Reilly anyway? This is the second time you’ve complained about his shit. He’s the private joke of the media world. No one but idiots take him seriously. What next do you wanna complain that reality tv isn’t realistic? No shit. Bad enough that you’re actually watching this shit, but on top of that you wanna use it as your primary evidence for making generalizations about black people? Black people need to learn to talk right? Fuck u, that’s like me watching COPS and saying white people need to learn to act right.
Hashim,
I think you’re taking this the wrong way. I may have used an easy target in this post but that does not mean my point isn’t valid. I understand what you’re saying about the media prone to putting on black people who are ignorant because it increases ratings. However I have examples of my theory outside of the media altogether.
In high school I can remember countless times when some black dude would get angry as fuck over nothing and end up in more trouble than he was in. For example, there was this one guy who really didn’t like me so I used to do shit like mouth the words “fuck you” and shit like that to get him pissed off. Of course I would always do these things when no one was looking. He would get so pissed and start screaming and knocking things around. Although I was in the wrong he appeared to be the problem, not me. It’s kinda like someone getting pulled over for speeding and making comments about racism. The cop may have not been racist at all but could start to feel that way after hearing the comments. I know if I was a cop and pulled someone black over because they were speeding and started hearing about how racist I was, I would get pretty pissed.
Some people might think I was a racist because of that post but that’s not true at all. Racism is the belief that one race is superior to another which just isn’t true. I do believe that there problems in terms of how most whites view blacks but all the more reason for black people to “be on their best behavior”. It’s not fair and I think it’s pretty fucked up but it’s true.
I hate the O’Reilly factor but I still watch it from time to time. I don’t really like Bill Maher either but I watch him too. To be honest I just about hate all news programs and their hosts. I think just watching the newsmen that I agree with is the worst thing to do. Watching just one news channel or host is like only reading into one religion or dating one girl. You need to hear from all sides even if you disagree with some of the things you might hear along the way. In fact I think it’s more important to hear things you disagree with. I hope this doesn’t sound too dramatic but you should know your enemies better than your friends.
I think the problems in black America also affect white America. White people do much of the same shit like blaming their crimes on the lack of a father or their nationality. For a long time in this country the Irish were spit on. It wasn’t until they put an Irishmen into office (JFK) that things got much better. Maybe President Rice is on the horizon?
Hey didn’t you go to the bell or some shit? Quite the pool of upstanding black men to collect your sample from.
Your argument basically goes like this: You’ve seen a few tv programs that you know are designed to present a very specific negative portrayal of black people and you’ve seen some black people act up. Since you haven’t been to college and I’m guessing you don’t really hang with black people these days, it means your greatest interactions probably occurred at high school and in the army. So lets see, teenage years (when people are behaving at their best) at a shitty high school and time spent in an institution that mainly exists to collect up the social detritus of the country. Yeah that’s definetly a good sample. You wanna go to prison next and record some more observations?
But yeah, ignoring the fact that you probably haven’t fucked with any historically black colleges, fraternities, social organizations, interest groups, businesses, churches, families, read any black books, etc. let’s just assume you’re right.
Let’s divide their ‘bad attitude’ into two parts, since this is basically what you do. The first is generally not behaving appropriately, being loud, stupid or just not following social norms that’ll improve how people recieve them. The second is defaulting to calling someone racist, regardless of the validity of the claim.
We’ll start with the second one. Basically you say black people have to be on their best behavior because most white people already have racist preconceptions and they need to prove them wrong. At the same time black people should be very careful about calling white people racist, even though most are. Damn that’s some hard requirements. If you’re black you have to never overgeneralize about the people who, to a large extent, overgeneralize about you. Also, even though they may benefit unfairly from racism, you should never try to benefit from reverse racism. Sorry buddy they’re not angels.
Okay, back to the first part, acting up. This one’s more complicated, but I guess if you believe this, you have to ask yourself why black people do this. On the one side I’ve noticed that alot of the characteristics people ascribe to black people tend to be mirrorred in poor white people. I don’t mean poor like how you think you are, I mean really poor. Aside from that, those same tendencies tend to fade in black people who are middle class and are non-existent in rich black people. I mean middle and upper class black people who are actually middle and upper class and not poor ones who have been suddenly supplanted for some random reason. So i think not following social norms is usually the result of not being taught them, not having access to a sufficiently stable home environment for you to absorb them, and feeling that they don’t apply to you because you’ve been excluded from the structures where they benefit you the most. In this situation it’s only adding insult to injury to be told you need to ‘get rid of the attitude’.
Probably a better idea for an outsider to address the variables that elicit this ugliness than comment on how ugly it is. This is what you did in the last sentence of your last post. Exactly. Once black people are sufficiently integrated into the system, the inconveniences of integrating them will disappear and it’s very likely any cultural differences real or imagined will disappear. But this is a huge departure from the sway of your previous post, and you do this alot. Start ridiculous and then correct yourself. What i wonder is whether in the absence of an outsider’s rebuttal you ever get past the point of ridiculousness.
Ok ok, so my high school was 95% black and 100% criminal so I concede defeat on that one. I would say my experience with educated black people is very limited almost to the point of non existent. This isn’t by choice but as you said the other day “because of geographic conditions”. I attended a high school designed for criminals, spent time in the Army which attracts mostly scum, and now live in a pretty wealthy part of Texas where to be honest, I haven’t seen a black person around here unless I go downtown.
I think we have gotten off topic though. My main post was about the group of black people that do act that way. I know that they are not representative of black people but it really doesn’t matter what I think or know. What matters to the advancement of blacks in our society is what the “important” people think. Most of the people in charge are middle aged white dudes that learned everything they know about black people from TV. This Congresswoman’s actions are what get noticed, not some intelligent black dude from Sudan in the middle of bumfuck Ohio.
The problem as I see it is a chicken and the egg scenario. Black people want white people to treat them equally but many white people refuse because the only time blacks get noticed is when they act up and thus look at them unequally. The whites are waiting for black people to stop acting up and the black people are waiting for the white people to stop being racist. I think both sides should meet half way; we need to educate people who are in largely white areas so that their “facts” don’t come from Cops or shitty TV shows and those black people that act out like this Congresswoman did need to display a better image.
You’ve said many times that I tend to back out of my original arguments but I don’t see it that way at all. I think that my original statements are generally too vague and I usually add things to make them more attractive to criticism like my last sentence. That really didn’t need to be added but I knew it would help stir up emotion.
What I mean to say in my original post and all the comments are not really coming across very well. I’m not a very good writer or speaker. I have many ideas and no good way to express them.
Seth,
Though there are many Black people who like to make a fuss and pull out the race card, there are hundreds of us who have had just cause to raise hell over unfair treatment, but we just shrug it off. You say that Black people complaining makes America respect us less, but what about those of us who have truly experienced discrimination- is it in our best interest to keep our mouths shut for the sake of “respect” ? You (yes you, Seth) make a big damn stink about every stupid little thing that happens to you- should the level of respect America (and white people) have for you be lowered? According to your theory, yes. That means you should shut the fuck up and stop blogging (i.e. complaining). And to agree with what your friend said, is it just a coincidence that stupid Black people are always on tv ? I think not. I know Blacks from all classes- doctors, lawyers, brokers, etc. but these people are rarely seen or heard-therefore further pushing the ignorant, loud, “Black” stereotype. Yeah “Shaniqua” is cursing somebody out on the news, but where is her opposite-stifling the stereotype? God forbid mass media put anyone educated and Black (besides Oprah) into the forefront. That would just be too right. And not to beat a dead horse with my next statement, but it is very easy for a White guy to rant on and complain about why Blacks aren’t respected because many White people rarely have to fight for it. In 2006, almost everyday I have to prove the stereotypes wrong- everytime I walk into a store and they follow me, everytime I go to an interview and they look me up and down and automatically assume I’m not qualified, and every time I get pulled over for some asinine reason. Even though some Blacks get out of control with their “it was because I’m black”, I’m kind of glad it happens sometimes because it reminds people that racism is still alive and makes it harder for prejudice people to publicly get away with it. In general, I’m surprised by this posting as a whole, because I thought you were at least smart enough to not make general statements- that shows poor thinking and a smidge of ignorance.
And P.S.- I know you’re all about shocking and pissing people off, but using the word Nigger makes you look typical and unoriginal. Come up with something better for shock value. Anyone can toss in a racially-charged word and rile people up, but it takes a smart person to use other methods. Further proving, you are still an Idiot and not as smart as you think you are.
Wow, where did you come from, South Africa?
I think everyone is affected by discrimination. I’ve been stopped when leaving stores because they thought I stole something on several occasions and have been followed. Some if it is my fault as I generally dress like a bum.
Last year I went into Circuit City to buy a TV. I already knew exactly what I wanted as I researched it online for a week already and had the product number written on a piece of paper. It took me almost 10 minutes to get help while the sales people took care of the middle aged people who looked like they had more cash to throw down. Meanwhile I had jus returned from Iraq after not spending a dime and making twice my salary. I dropped 2200 on a TV while those people probably left the store empty handed. The point I’m trying to make is that just because I was wearing an old t-shirt, jeans, worn sneakers and was only 21 years old they figured I was just browsing or just going to buy a CD or something. We are all judged by are appearance. I have to say that I am glad that I am white because I probably do have it easier although it’s pretty hard to tell since I can’t switch back and forth.
I really don’t know that much especially about these types of things. I blog what I feel as this blog isn’t a documentary but a journal. Are lots of things wrong with what I say? Sure but it’s not like anyone is really listening to me. When I wrote my post I was kinda pissed so I wrote with more emotion than level headed tact. If I really cared about the image of the blog I would have written down my thoughts and re wrote the post after some time had past but I don’t. I purposely write a post as soon as it occurs to me and never make edits. I think I am smart but not educated and lots of people seem to get those confused. Oh and I just realized who wrote that last comment
Hey Jenelle!
Ever think that you not getting help at Circuit City was for some other explanation other than your raggedy appearance or your age (that nobody else knew)? Maybe other customers were there first and being served. Maybe they were short staffed. Maybe your own low self-esteem of how you looked clouded the true reality of why you weren’t being promptly served.
Also, shame on you for saying a congresswoman is a “dumb bitch” and a “cunt”. Your derogatory and disparaging remarks against women screams misogyny. Clearly you are not educated, otherwise you may have had to face your own false beliefs. So you are the product of the US Army? Our country is clearly going to hell.
By the way, glad you left Texas. We don’t want you here.
