If there’s one thing that I hate most is driving. It totally brings out the worst in people when they’re on the road. Driving is just such an impersonal means of getting around that it makes it easy to get pissed off at the other drivers.

On certain blocks at certain times in NYC pedestrian traffic is horrible. People are literally stampeding down the block in a huge horde but even with all those people in such close proximity I’ve never seen someone flip another person off or yell (personal equivalent to the honk).

I think that’s my main gripe with Texas. I need a friggin’ car for everything. No more walking up the block for some milk; now I have to drive a few miles to the nearest grocery store. My next home will be more urban for sure.
