Drugs, Sex, and Rock and Roll (ok maybe no sex or rock and roll but plenty of drugs)
Why in the hell do people do drugs? It’s so fucking stupid. I just got done watching a flick about drugs and it was so horrible. These kids were shooting heroin all over the place. A person must think very little of themselves to consider using drugs. The weirdest thing to me is when people who are addicted to drugs tell others not to start but people start anyway. Take cigarettes for example, why would you even start? I haven’t met anyone who smokes who promotes it. They are all like “Don’t start it’s too hard to quit”. Yet kids everywhere are smoking as young as 12 or 13 years old. And I hate when people try to blame it on that peer pressure bullshit. I have been around plenty of people who smoke weed, drink alcohol, and smoke cigarettes but they have never pressured me into anything. I think that peer pressure comes from within. Weak minded individuals feel the need to “fit in” with a certain crowd so they follow the leader. I just don’t understand what attracts people to something that they know will hurt them down the road.
I think the war in Iraq should be diverted. I feel that it would be better for our country if we used all our resources and invaded places like Columbia, Mexico, Argentina, and other countries that are notorious for drug producing/trafficking. We are fighting a so called “War on Terror” but I am in a country that had nothing to do with terrorism. Besides all of this started because of 911 but I believe only 3000 people roughly died in that attack. I don’t have the statistics in front of me but I know for a fact that drug related deaths are at least 10 times that amount and this is a conservative figure. If we used all the money and manpower to combat this war on drugs, drugs would not exist in the streets and if they did the price would be so high that no one could afford to but them. How about launching a SCUD missile into some drug lords’ mansion like we did to Saddam’s palaces, which would sure dampen the drug business. We teach kids in school not to do drugs but it’s clear they aren’t listening, and even if they are the drugs in the streets are too tempting for some to avoid. I think we need to stop the drugs coming into the country and this would eliminate and temptation that exists.
Launching intercontinental ballistic missiles into South America may seem extreme but the problem we have is also extreme. Our country is supposed to be the “best country in the world” yet we have some of the highest crime rates and definitely by far the highest drug usage. I read somewhere that 80 percent of the drugs produced are consumed in the US. That is incredible since we don’t even have the highest population. Maybe when they say America is the best, they mean that America is the best at getting high. People in the states need to get off their high horse and start looking at themselves instead of blaming problems on other people. It’s not Mexico’s fault that they use their borders to get so much dope in the United States. It’s all about supply and demand. If we stop demanding they will stop supplying.
Hey I am tired of writing about this subject because it gets on my nerves. But if you agree or disagree then leave a comment. Later.

Wow. I’m impressed. A fellow youth who is actually intelligent, and has a mind of their own. Much respect goes to you, my friend. Don’t change for anyone (not that I have to tell you that)

We are already wasting too much of taxpayer’s money on the war on drugs. It has been proven that most drug offenders spend more time in jail than people who are convicted of violent crimes such as rape. That is ridiculous. People choose to do drugs and the government should’nt waste any more time and money on trying to prevent people from doing so. Cigarettes and alcohol cause just as much damage, and they are both legal. I know more people who have died from alcohol poisoning, drunk drivers, and tobacco-related illnesses than drug-related deaths.

P.S. I was the one who corrected you about spelling “conceited” wrong. I hate when people misspell words.
ahh, Jenelle. Spoken like a true liberal fascist. Yes, yes… you’ve seen so many people killed by alcohol and cigarrettes… but is that the fault of the cigarrettes and alcohol… or the fault of the morons using them? Answer me that. And, if you really have nothing better to do than go around trying to be everyone’s english teacher… you’re even more pathetic than you make yourself out to be. It’s people like you that make me wish public crucifixions were brought back.
Again, Seth, love the rants. Keep it up. And don’t worry about your few and far between spelling errors.
If people like Jenelle want to nitpick about things like that, it just proves they don’t have anything real to say in the first place.

Daemion,
I am a friend of Seth’s. I was not out to attack him, but simply debating him and posting a comment, two things that he likes. Second, calling me a “fascist” and saying you wish “public crucifixions” were still around isn’t a fine example of your maturity either. If you can’t read people’s comments without attacking them for their own personal opinions, maybe you should stay off sites like these. As for the spelling correction, I was just having fun with Seth because he doesn’t like it. He knows my sense of humor.
P.S. spend more time minding your business and less time riding Seth’s dick.
I agree with you Seth. We are spending so much money on the war against terrorism when they are other problems such as drugs. The money that we used over in Iraq some of that could be used to promote a program against drugs. If you look at it this way its the governments fault, its all about agenda setting and public opinion.
I must say that i really admire your intelligence… thats why i always make a point to read your blogs… hope you are having a great day. xoxox, meena
