A professor of mine went off about that today. He said, “There is a real simple solution to the immigration problem: just go after the employers. Do that, it’s fixed. Problem is, all these vested interests steer politicians away from promoting that idea. Since those interests are a big reason politicians are able to win elections, we’ll always have this immigration ‘problem.’”
