OK, so why am I pissed at Cisco? While they do make some really great and cool devices, their documentation sucks dick. It seems as though they think offering tons of documentation is better than offering good documentation. You can download a thousand page manual that could be summed up in a paragraph if you cut out all the fat.

Take this lovely gem that sparked this blog post. This is a screen shot from the Cisco Guard Configuration PDF available here.

This is the whole section on setting up an SSH channel. The first step says to permit SSH which is easy enough. The next step (also the last step) says to establish the SSH channel which is literally the title of the fucking section. This is the equivalent of defining a word with the word!

This is why most Linux docs kick ass. They are usually easier to read and you can find many different ones covering the same topic so you can find the writing style that suits you. I say again, fuck Cisco.
