Staying relatively fit

As I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle I’ve been trying to come up with ways to prevent becoming too overweight and maybe drop a couple of pounds.
I started this new thing where I set a one hour timer at work and have to do a set of 100 push ups each time. I do a set before and after work which should put me at 1000 per day. I don’t have any illusions of being as fit as I used to be but it should help some.
I got the idea of doing these push ups from the Army. I used to get in trouble a lot and get assigned push ups. 200 for not shaving, 400 for a hickey, etc. I forgot my books for a class once and had to do one for every page of the books. Coupled with the other things I did wrong I think I did 2800 or so not including the PT in the morning. It was always obvious who got in trouble a lot during PT tests because we would always be the best at push ups. I used to be able to do over 100 in 2 minutes.
I just have to hold off on creating a gut until I’m married! ![]()

400 push ups for a hickey???? Dang. Hope it was worth it.
Damn. Where do you work that you can just drop down & do Pushup … I guess you have your own office. I’m in a cube farm, so I would get some funny looks for that!
